What am I looking at?

The MCS dashboard is simpler than it looks.

You do not need to read every number at once. The screen is just six main areas. Start with the big picture, then look at one pair card when you want more detail.

Simplified Market Cheat Sheet dashboard map showing the 28 pair layout, opportunity journal and account protection area
Start with this simple map. It shows the MCS layout without the extra MetaTrader controls around it. The six parts below explain what to look for.

First, find these six things.

1

Account information

Your balance, equity, open P/L, margin and free margin. Think: “How is the account doing right now?”

2

Currency Flow Rank

The eight currencies are ranked from weak to strong. Rank 8 is strongest; rank 1 is weakest.

3

28 pair cards

Each card is one Forex pair. It tells you the direction MCS sees and whether a setup is forming, waiting or live.

4

Trader Journal

A simple performance summary for open trades and past periods such as today, week, month and year.

5

Open positions

A quick view of profitable, losing and total open MCS P/L.

6

Status bar

Server time, broker/server name and important MCS status information such as Prop Guard state.

How to read one pair card

Do not try to read all 28 cards at once. Pick one. Read it from top to bottom.

PairExample: EURUSD. This tells you which two currencies you are looking at.
BUY / SELLThe direction MCS currently gets from the currency-flow ranking.
F / SFlow score and Smart Money score. Bigger numbers mean a larger rank gap or more active SMC evidence.
PRICEThe current market price MCS is watching for that pair.

What are the little letters?

They are small “lights” that show which Smart Money events MCS currently detects. Green means that event is active.

LightSimple meaning
LQLiquidity activity is present.
SWA sweep is detected.
BOBreak of Structure (BOS).
CHChange of Character (CHOCH).
MSMarket Structure Shift (MSS).
FGFair Value Gap (FVG).
OBOrder Block condition.
You do not need to memorize themThe important part is the final state of the card. The lights simply show why MCS is or is not building a setup.

What do the card states mean?

NO CHAINMCS does not yet have a complete SMC chain. Waiting is normal.
FORMINGSome conditions are appearing, but the setup is not ready yet.
PENDINGMCS has a locked internal entry plan and is waiting for price.
LIVEAn MCS position is open on that pair.

When ENTRY, SL and TP appear

E

ENTRY

The price level MCS is waiting for, or the position entry when a trade is live.

S

SL

The planned stop level. In the current MCS design, protection can be managed virtually by the EA.

T

TP

The planned target level, calculated from the stop distance and the selected RiskReward value.

The easiest way to use the dashboard

  • Look at Currency Flow Rank to see who is strong and weak.
  • Look for cards that are FORMING, PENDING or LIVE.
  • Open one card mentally, not all 28 at once.
  • Use the journal and open-position box to see account status.
  • If everything says NO CHAIN, MCS is simply waiting. That is normal.
RememberA dashboard full of “NO CHAIN” is not an error. MCS is designed to wait until its flow and Smart Money conditions line up.
