Settings without the headache
What does this setting do?
You do not need to understand every technical word before using MCS. Open a setting below and you will get two simple answers: what it does and what you should normally do.
If this is your first time, start here.
Use a demo account first. Keep the main defaults and change only one thing at a time.
How MCS looks for a trade
These settings decide how selective MCS is.
Which style should MCS use?
It chooses SCALP, DAY or SWING. Each mode uses different market timeframes.
Start with DAY. Change it only after reading the mode guide.
How different must the two currencies be?
MCS ranks eight currencies from weak to strong. This number says how large the rank gap must be before a pair can qualify.
Leave it at 3 while learning. A higher number makes MCS more selective.
How much Smart Money evidence is enough?
MCS counts active market-structure events. The setup needs at least this score before it can qualify.
Leave it at 3. Higher is stricter; lower accepts weaker combinations.
Should MCS wait for a complete pattern?
When ON, MCS looks for a recognized chain such as REVERSAL, CONTINUATION or ROYAL FLUSH.
Keep it ON. Turn it off only if you deliberately want to test the simpler score-only engine.
How big can a trade be?
These settings affect position size, exits and how many positions can be open.
How big is each trade?
This is the fixed lot size MCS asks the broker to use.
Use a small demo size such as 0.01 while learning. This is not automatic percentage-risk sizing.
How does MCS recognize its own trades?
Think of it as the EA's ID tag. MCS uses it to identify important positions and saved state.
Leave it alone unless you intentionally run another MCS setup that needs a different ID.
How far is the target from the stop?
At 3.0, the planned target distance is three times the planned stop distance.
Keep 3.0 until you have a clear reason to test another exit ratio.
How many MCS trades may be open?
Once this number of MCS positions is open, new entries are blocked.
You may lower it if you want a smaller exposure cap. 28 does not mean MCS will normally open 28 trades.
How long may MCS wait for an entry?
MCS can create an internal planned entry. If price does not reach it in time, the setup expires.
Leave 360 minutes while learning how setups behave in your selected mode.
How MCS protects the account
These settings belong to the Prop Equity Guard. Read the full guard guide before changing money limits.
Should account protection be active?
This turns the MCS equity-cycle protection on or off.
Keep it ON while learning how the guard works.
When should a winning cycle stop?
When account equity rises by this amount from the stored cycle start, the guard is triggered.
Choose this deliberately for your account. Despite the input name, the calculation follows the account's deposit currency.
When should a losing cycle stop?
When account equity falls by this amount from the cycle start, the guard is triggered.
Do not copy a number from somebody else. Pick a limit that makes sense for the account you are using.
After a guard hit: continue or stop for the day?
FALSE means close the MCS basket, reset the cycle and later continue. TRUE means block new entries for the rest of that broker server day.
Leave FALSE until you are sure you want a full same-day lock after the target or loss limit is hit.
When may MCS open a new trade?
The time window controls new entries. Existing MCS positions can still be managed outside the window.
Use a trading-time window?
OFF means MCS may open new entries 24 hours a day. ON limits new entries to the start and end times below.
Leave it OFF unless you deliberately want a session window.
When does the entry window start?
The start time for new entries.
Remember: this is MT5 broker/server time, not automatically your local clock.
When does the entry window end?
After this server time, MCS stops opening new entries when trading hours are enabled.
Set it only after checking the time shown in your MT5 terminal.
Close everything when the session ends?
For SCALP and DAY, this can force-close MCS positions at session end when trading hours are enabled. SWING is excluded.
Leave it OFF unless you specifically want the basket closed at the end of the session.
What you see on the screen
Show the MCS dashboard?
Shows the 28-pair panel, currency ranks, journal and position summary on the chart.
Keep it ON. It is the easiest way to see what MCS is doing. See the dashboard guide.
Let MCS resize the dashboard text?
MCS adjusts dashboard font sizes to the chart dimensions.
Keep it ON unless your screen layout needs something different.
Messages on your phone
Telegram is optional. If you do not need it, leave the master switch OFF and ignore the rest.
Turn Telegram messages on?
The master ON/OFF switch for all Telegram messaging.
Keep it OFF until your bot token, Chat ID and MT5 WebRequest permission are ready. Then follow the Telegram guide.
Telegram connection details
The token identifies your bot. The Chat ID tells MCS where to send the message.
Enter them only inside your own MT5. Treat the bot token like a password and never publish it in screenshots.
Which messages should be sent?
These switches choose whether MCS sends new-trade, close, break-even and daily-report messages after Telegram is enabled.
Leave them ON at first. Nothing is sent while UseTelegramAlerts is OFF.
When should the daily report arrive?
The daily report time in MT5 broker/server time.
Change it only if you want the report at another server time.
Optional Auto Copy button
MCS can add a button to a Telegram message when an external destination URL has been configured.
Leave the URL empty unless you intentionally use an approved destination. With an empty URL, there is no active Auto Copy destination.
Only when something is not working
Show Telegram diagnostics
Prints Telegram readiness information in the MT5 Experts log.
Keep it ON. It is useful if Telegram stops working.
Send a Telegram test when MCS starts
Sends a test message when the EA initializes.
Normally keep it OFF. Turn it ON temporarily while testing Telegram.
Retry Telegram without the button
If a message with the optional button fails, MCS can try again without the button.
Leave it ON.
Show detailed MCS debug messages
Prints much more detail in the MT5 Experts log about why MCS is waiting, skipping or acting.
Keep it OFF normally. Turn it ON temporarily when diagnosing a problem.
